Contactor is a voltage-controlled switching device, suitable for long-distance frequent on and off AC-DC circuit. It belongs to a control device, which is one of the most widely used low-voltage electrical components of power dragging system, machine tool equipment control line and automatic control system.
According to the type of contact contact through current, it can be divided into AC contactor and DC contactor.
AC contactor is an automatic electromagnetic switch, the conduction and break of the contact is no longer controlled by hand, but to the coil, static core magnetization produces magnetic suction, attract the core to drive the contact action, the coil lost power, the moving core in the spring reaction force of the release to drive the contact to restore in situ.
The following points should generally be noted when using AC contactors:
1. The access power supply and coil voltage used in the AC contactor is 200V or the commonly used 380V. Be sure to see the working voltage of the AC contactor clearly.
2. The capacity of the contact, the size of the current controlled by the AC contactor, such as 10A, 18A, 40A, 100A, etc., and the capacity of the speed stack is different for different uses.
3. Auxiliary contacts are often open and often closed. If the number of contacts can not meet the needs of the circuit, auxiliary contacts can be added to increase the contacts of the AC contactor.
